this painting has a lot of cool effects with the paint flowing and flowering and merging. the colors become quite complex as they mingle. the composition is good, even thought it's a very very abstract painting. i have to say part of the reason i like this work so much is because i do things like this and enjoy them greatly. i wish the artist had given us some information about the mediums and techniques used. i find it calming to look at, gentle, swirling, melting. it's quite psychedelic, which is a major plus in my book!
it reminds me of nasa photos of space (which i found out as an adult were artificially colored and didn't look anything like a galaxy or a planet actually does lol.) this pulls at my heart strings a little because it looks so much like what i wanted things to be like.
That was not at all what I was going for, but I liked it enough to keep it the way it was. My favorite part are the lines that a millipede left behind as it walked over it as it was drying on my basement floor.
Very neat!! It looks like two lovers actually, the black "splotch" looks like a man, and white looks like a woman. You can see it looks like faces in the upper middle of the picture. It's kind of awesome, it's abstract, yet seems spiritual and mysterious.
This a really cool! A planet's surface huh? :3 Before I saw it close up I thought the darkest splotch (should I call it that?) looked like a knight riding a horse from a tilted angle. Haha! Thats one of the cool things about abstract-ish artwork. If you look at it different ways you can see different pictures!
